The ITIL® certification scheme provides a modular approach to the ITIL framework, and is comprised of a series of qualifications focused on different aspects of ITIL best practice to various degrees of depth and detail.
ITIL 4 is the latest evolution of the ITIL framework. It prepares IT and digital professionals with the skills needed for managing services in the digital age. The Certification Scheme is made up of 6 certification courses with the first being ITIL 4 Foundation which is mandatory before proceeding with the advanced levels. ITIL certifications benefit individuals who are in need of ITIL framework basics and want to enhance their knowledge of IT service management.​
The ITIL 4 Designation streams
ITIL 4 Managing Professional is a stream of four modules that are part of ITIL 4, the next evolution of ITIL.

The ITIL 4 certification
Each of the ITIL® 4 advanced course stands on its own and can be taken in any order after the Foundation certification or as part of your progression towards the new designations: ITIL® Managing Professional & Strategic Leader.
ITIL 4 Foundation
ITIL 4 Foundation introduces an end-to-end operating model for the creation, delivery and continual improvement of technology-enabled products and services.
ITIL 4 Drive Stakeholder Value
Drive Stakeholder value training course covers key topics like service level-agreement design, multi-supplier management, relationship management, customer and user experience design, customer journey mapping, and more.
ITIL 4 Create Deliver and Support
The ITIL Specialist: Create, Deliver and Support module is for IT practitioners and leaders who design digital products and services, and who deliver and support them to agreed levels.
ITIL 4 Direct Plan and Improve
The ITIL 4 Direct, Plan and Improve (DPI) training course is intended to provide the candidate with the practical skills necessary to create a ‘learning and improving’ IT organisation, with a strong and effective strategic direction.
ITIL 4 High-Velocity IT
The ITIL 4 Specialist Hight Velocity IT (HIT) course explores the ways in which digital organizations and digital operating models function in high-velocity environments.
ITIL 4 Digital and IT Strategy
ITIL® 4 Leader: Digital & IT Strategy certification course focuses on the challenges associated with developing a digital strategy as well as highlighting how to align a digital business strategy with an IT strategy for business success.
